You might have seen Bobby in the past without even knowing it. If you haven't seen him, chances are you have seen something he has shot, well captured with one of his cameras. Speaking of shot, he was shot at while in a helicopter flying over New Orleans covering Katrina, while following the migration of immigrants crossing the Mexican/Arizona border, and even while getting that perfect shot during a Spanish Gang shoot-out in South Phoenix. He has hung out of helicopters to get the best shot possible, and can even fly an A-Star if necessary. You might have also seen him on ESPN's top ten plays of the week falling down the hill at Clemson with a $40,000 dollar camera on his shoulder. He has had some interesting experiences in the past but the things that shine the most are his Six Emmy's.
He works with groups like Greenville Hospital System, South Carolina Hospital Association, Young Office, Clemson University, BlueCross BlueShield and many others to build online video marketing campaigns. He likes using his journalistic skills to tell rich stories that appeal to audiences sense of identity and connection as a "call to action" whether it is fundraising or a new medical service. Telling stories, it is just fun!
He also serves as an Advanced Writing Instructor at Clemson University teaching Business Writing. He uses a strong business communication focus teaching students the value in using web and social media technologies as means to build connections and communicate in a high paced business environment.
He is the creator of the Network Bash, a collegiate, student led networking event that brings educational curriculum, industry, and collegiate supporters together to help students learn how to use emerging technologies to build connections for career opportunities.
