The Parenting Place tells a story of Positive Parenting in South Carolina

Prevent Child Abuse Pickens County is a non-profit organization that has been serving Pickens County since 1991. We are affiliated with Prevent Child Abuse South Carolina and Prevent Child Abuse America. Our physical location is The Parenting Place in Easley, SC. Their mission is to promote positive parenting and child health and development, thereby preventing child abuse and other poor childhood outcomes, and to stabilize the lives of the victims through support and services.


Clemson University Client Based Program Director in the Department of English asked me help produce and deliver a story that best represents the mission of The Parenting Place. I worked with students from a Business Writing Class at Clemson as they organized and helped execute a mission to provide this non-profit marketing materials to promote their services.
